Walls with humidity with signs of saltpeter or efflorescence.

Efflorescence or saltpeter is visible on the surface of the walls. They are distinguished by sight by being small whitish crystals. The appearance results from the infiltration of moisture into the wall, due to cracked walls or by capillarity – rising humidity inside the walls from the ground – also known as rising humidity.

Saltpeter should be removed dryly, by sanding or brushing. Once removed, the Barbolite Sealant should be applied in two coats to the salitrad wall and repainted with the finishing paint.

If cracks exist in the exterior wall, it must be waterproofed using a paint scheme based on Dioflex 2RT.
