Preparation

  • Removes the kitchen handles and then removes all the doors;
  • If you’re painting on new wood, make sure the surfaces are completely clean;

Tip: Pre-painted woods should be thoroughly cleaned and sanded, remove loose or peeling paint and wipe with a lint-free cloth.

  • Apply a layer of a primer (get advice from our decision matrix);

Tip: If you opt for a direct-to-surface (2-in-1) this product serves as a primer and finish.

Painting

  • Make sure the wood is completely dry before painting.
  • Evenly applies the first coat of finishing paint. Paint the panels with soft, even strokes in the direction of the fiber, not against it.
  • Read carefully the drying time on the packaging of the ink you choose;
  • Apply a second coat of the finishing paint;

Tip: Two full coats of the finishing paint is recommended to achieve full color depth.

Once dry, replace the doors, followed by the handles.
