Barbot Group revolutionizes the industry with a new production process
To address the challenges of bacterial contamination in water-based paints, Barbot teamed up with Hygienic Pigging Systems Ltd (HPS) to adopt advanced liquid recovery systems, while also using solutions with fewer preservatives and more naturals.
With this technology, contamination has been virtually eliminated and the water used as a propellant is now recycled, reinforcing the company’s environmental commitment. The Barbot Group has seen improvements in product quality and greater efficiency thanks to automation.
“At the Barbot Group, innovation is our legacy and our future. By adopting this new technology from HPS, we have not only overcome significant challenges, but also redefined the standards of the paint industry. This is our mission, it is a testament to our commitment to excellence, operational efficiency and environmental responsibility,”
António Aguiar, Industrial Director.
The pigging system also offers advantages such as the prevention of cross-contamination, reduction of losses and minimization of waste and water consumption, reinforcing the role of technology in the modernization of production.
