It currently includes eight companies, operating in the area of production and commercialization of paints and varnishes for Civil Construction and Industry.
Barbot entered the Angolan market with the opening in 2008 of a new production unit. The brand has thus conquered a new destination on its internationalization map and a new manufacturing unit, this time located in Luanda, which today has an area of about 1,800m² and a production capacity of 12,000 tons/year.
Barbot Angola is dedicated to the production of paints and varnishes for Civil Construction and Industry, operating mainly in the Angolan market.
Currently, the brand has a network of ten own stores in this territory and a team of professionals capable of providing personalized support to its customers, becoming the second best-selling brand in the paint market, having managed to overcome the difficulties inherent to the territory.

In this country, the Group’s facilities occupy a total area of 2,000 m², in which 12 employees operate. With enormous potential in the construction and tourism sectors, Cape Verde reinforces the expansion of the Portuguese company on the African continent.
Barbot’s coverage in Cape Verde already extends to the entire archipelago.
In Cape Verde, Barbot has a manufacturing unit and its own store.

Due to the development of civil construction, industry and the presence of many Portuguese companies in these sectors in this territory, Barbot started in Mozambique with a production capacity of 7,500 tons per year.
With a production unit and its own store, Barbot launched in Mozambique in the first half of 2013.

In 1967, Diera began its activity with the production of paints and varnishes, assuming since its foundation, a philosophy of creating products with high quality demands. In 1978, the favorable reception by the market made it possible to expand its activity to the production of adhesive cement.
In 2019, Diera was integrated into the Barbot – Indústria de Tintas, S.A. group, becoming part of one of the largest groups in the national coatings sector.
A specialist in varnishes, Diera produces for the main national manufacturers of wood and cork flooring, which add value to the products that reach all over the world. In the construction glue and mortar sector, Diera is currently one of the most relevant Portuguese companies. It exports directly to several countries in Europe and Africa and thus contributes to the promotion of Portuguese products around the world and to the growth of the national economy.
