GDPR

The protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data is a fundamental right.

The principles and rules on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data should respect, irrespective of their nationality or place of residence, their fundamental rights and freedoms. In this way, the R.G.P.D. was designed with the aim of contributing to the achievement of an area of freedom, security and justice and economic union, to economic and social progress, to the consolidation and convergence of economies at the level of the internal market and to the well-being of natural persons.

The new R.G.P.D. enters into force throughout the European Union, in Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland on May 25, 2018.
In order to ensure the maintenance of the close partnership between “Barbot – Indústria de Tintas, S.A.”, its Customers and all other Interested Parties, it is therefore necessary to update the company’s data processing policy.

We ensure lawful, fair and transparent treatment and with the strictest respect for compliance with the legislation in force.
In order for the processing of personal data to be lawful, it must, among other grounds (including the existence and maintenance of a contractual relationship), be carried out based on the consent of the data subject. Consent must therefore be a free, specific, informed and explicit manifestation of your will. Thus, and for all due and legal purposes, “Barbot – Indústria de Tintas, S.A.” informs that:

c) you do not intend to transfer the personal data to a third country or to a national or international organization that is not part of your corporate group;

d) the personal data collected will be used when and as long as the consent given by the holder is maintained, as long as the contractual relationship is maintained or as long as there is a need to maintain them to comply with legal obligations;

e) The data subject may request access to his or her personal data, as well as its rectification, deletion or limitation of processing;

f) at any time, the data subject may withdraw his/her consent to the processing of data, without, however, compromising the lawfulness of the processing already carried out on the basis of prior consent;

g) in compliance with a legal determination, it may be required to provide personal data;
